General labourer — Lexington County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a general labourer in Lexington County, South Carolina. You will be based with a civil contractor. You should have: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio The role involves wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations.
