Gas pipe fitter — Ripley County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Ripley County, Indiana. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. Day-to-day duties: • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints You should have: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
