Vacancy available: we are hiring a catering cook in Saint Clair County, Illinois. You will work in a hospital or office canteen. The role involves: • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Prepare the mise en place before each service You should have: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays Six days a week, one day off.
