Body shop technician — Oneida County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a body shop technician in Oneida County, New York. You will be based at an accident repair garage. On the job you will handle: • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
