Vacancy available: we are hiring a roofing foreman in West Sussex, England. You will be based at a sheet metal roofing workshop. Your main tasks: • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater Requirements: • A good head for heights and steady balance • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls Six days a week, one day off. £2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
