Steel erection rigger — Arkansas County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Arkansas County, Arkansas. You will be based at a power plant. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness The role involves coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; read lift plans and method statements before starting; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle.
