Rigger wanted in Rutherford County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigger in Rutherford County, North Carolina. You will be based at a container port. On a typical shift you will fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
