Prep cook — Buena Vista County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a prep cook in Buena Vista County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards You will follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; prepare the mise en place before each service; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
