Formwork joiner — Tensas Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Tensas Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a metro and tunnel project. Day-to-day duties: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb What we are looking for: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Full-time, day shift.
