Rough terrain crane operator — Jackson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Jackson County, Kansas. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. The role involves: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Current medical and eyesight certificate At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
