Great opportunity: wheel loader operator (Kentucky)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. You will be based at a plant hire yard. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift What we are looking for: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures 6+ years on the tools preferred.
