Aluminium TIG welder — Johnson County

You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Your main tasks: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
