Now hiring: we are hiring a fettler in Bryan County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Basic grinding and fettling skills You will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. Pay around $190 per day, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Share your details and we will call you back.
