Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings On a typical shift you will segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers.
