Core maker — Ekiti East

We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Ekiti East, Ekiti State. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. On a typical shift you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
