Urgent requirement: press setter operator (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press setter operator in Perry County, Illinois. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways You should have: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
