Power float operator — Tuscarawas County

Join our team: we are hiring a power float operator in Tuscarawas County, Ohio. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds On the job you will handle: • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout Meals and transport allowance provided.
