Bar bender and fixer — Perry County

Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Perry County, Mississippi. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. Day to day you will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
