Shuttering fixer wanted in Tompkins County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Tompkins County, New York. The job is at a precast concrete yard. On the job you will handle: • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement You should have: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Rotating shifts.
