Join our team: we are hiring a hand presser in Spencer County, Kentucky. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine The role involves: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure Overtime paid at a premium rate.
