Power press operator • Brazos County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a power press operator in Brazos County, Texas. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Your main tasks: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
