Falsework carpenter • Rockbridge County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Rockbridge County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
