Tiler — Albemarle County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tiler in Albemarle County, Virginia. You will work at a bathroom renovation job. Your main tasks: • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even Ideal candidate: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation 5+ years on the tools preferred.
