Brickwork mason • Talbot County, Maryland

Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Talbot County, Maryland. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. On the job you will handle: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits.
