Die-casting operator • Hyde County, South Dakota

Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Hyde County, South Dakota. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. The role involves check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
