Precision welder — Lafia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Lafia, Nasarawa State. You will work on an industrial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
