Crawler dozer operator • Mackinac County, Michigan

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Mackinac County, Michigan. You will be based at a civil contractor's yard. Day-to-day duties: • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving Requirements: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) 6+ years on the tools preferred.
