Punch press operator — Mariposa County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a punch press operator in Mariposa County, California. You will be based at an auto components factory. The role involves check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
