We are recruiting: hydraulic crane operator (Georgia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Houston County, Georgia. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. Day to day you will hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift. Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
