Sheet metal welder wanted in Duplin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Duplin County, North Carolina. Your main tasks: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Overtime paid at a premium rate.
