Press operator — Gunnison County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press operator in Gunnison County, Colorado. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred On a typical shift you will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
