Core maker — Cedar County

Join our team: we are hiring a core maker in Cedar County, Nebraska. You will be based on the moulding line. Day to day you will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Rotating shifts.
