Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Highland, Scotland. The job is at a power plant. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness The role involves: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads Part-time with flexible hours.
