Immediate opening: rigger (Florida)

Now hiring: we are hiring a rigger in Franklin County, Florida. You will be based at a power plant. Day to day you will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Full-time with occasional weekends.
