Commercial painter — Aiken County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a commercial painter in Aiken County, South Carolina. Requirements: • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator The role involves: • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames Six days a week, one day off.
