Turning centre operator — Androscoggin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Androscoggin County, Maine. On the job you will handle: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
