Commercial painter — Webster County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a commercial painter in Webster County, West Virginia. The job is at a property maintenance company. On the job you will handle: • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames What we are looking for: • Own brushes and basic hand tools • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec Rotating shifts.
