Great opportunity: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Rockbridge County, Virginia. You will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
