Safety officer wanted in Addison County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety officer in Addison County, Vermont. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Day-to-day duties: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
