Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Sullivan County, Indiana. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits.
