We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Franklin County, Kansas. The job is at a busy machine shop. Requirements: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T The role involves run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); run first-off inspection and sign off the part; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
