Now hiring: we are hiring a stitching operator in Winnebago County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Day to day you will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required.
