Ladle pourer — Conwy

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Conwy, Wales. You will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
