Now hiring: beldar (Gombe State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a beldar in Yamaltu/Deba, Gombe State. You will work on a residential housing site. Ideal candidate: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain Day to day you will dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
