CNC mill setter-operator — Hamilton County

Join our team: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Hamilton County, Nebraska. You will be based in a toolroom. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T On a typical shift you will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control.
