Shuttering fixer — Kings County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Kings County, New York. You will be based on a busy high-rise construction site. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking On the job you will handle: • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting Rotating shifts.
