Blocklayer — Trempealeau County

Join our team: we are hiring a blocklayer in Trempealeau County, Wisconsin. On a typical shift you will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Pay around $17 per hour, based on your experience.
