Great opportunity: we are hiring an auto painter in Henderson County, Illinois. The job is in a car refinishing workshop. Day to day you will blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying. You should have: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Good eye for colour matching and blending 4+ years on the tools preferred.
