Dispatch assistant — Leelanau County

Join our team: we are hiring a dispatch assistant in Leelanau County, Michigan. The job is at a builders' merchant yard. Day to day you will weigh and measure parcels for courier collection; assemble customer orders for dispatch and stage them at the loading bay; keep aisles, racking and the yard clean and free of obstructions; pick orders from racking using a handheld scanner and pick list; check incoming deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders. What we are looking for: • Previous warehouse or stores experience • Valid counterbalance/reach forklift licence (RTITB or equivalent) • Able to lift up to 25 kg repeatedly throughout the shift Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
