Hoist operator — Hale County

Join our team: we are hiring a hoist operator in Hale County, Alabama. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. The role involves work out the load weight and the lifting radius; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts 5+ years on the tools preferred.
